Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Gösta Hökkvist made the kick off which started today's match. In the 5th minute, Ätran's Ivar Salqvist dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. With a little luck, Nora's Gustav Kruuse got control of the ball when Karl-Johan Fribäck tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Nora getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Niclas Galle hit a great ball. Orvar Apelquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gösta Hökkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Ätran getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Stig Kollberg hit a great ball. After having played for 18 minutes, Kurt Valler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nora's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kurt Valler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Orvar Apelquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gösta Hökkvist in the 20th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erik Askstedt during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gösta Hökkvist in the 30th minute of play forced Ätran's goalkeeper Orvar Apelquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karl-Johan Fribäck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ivar Salqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gösta Hökkvist blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Orvar Apelquist having to make a save.
Orvar Apelquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gösta Hökkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivar Salqvist in the 55th minute of play forced Nora's goalkeeper Gustav Kruuse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Niclas Galle kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gösta Hökkvist in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Orvar Apelquist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ivar Salqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 70 minutes into the game, Karl-Johan Fribäck cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Gustav Kruuse was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gösta Hökkvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Orvar Apelquist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. After some careless play in the Ätran defense, Kurt Valler kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Orvar Apelquist. The Ätran fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Orvar Apelquist should have stopped the shot. In the 83rd minute Karl-Johan Fribäck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustav Kruuse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Karl-Johan Fribäck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 88 played minutes Nora got a freekick which was hit by Sten Håkansson. Daniel Persson's late challenge caught a Nora's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daniel Persson helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Ätran getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Daniel Persson hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Nora's Kurt Valler slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Orvar Apelquist. That made the score 3-2 after 92 minutes of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Nora players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ätran.
