Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Urban Sörman started the match with the kick off. Harestad's Björn Nordin got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Urban Sörman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 9 minutes into the match, Harestad's goal looked a bit too open when Urban Sörman came free, but Fredric Gustavsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Harestad's Fredric Gustavsson got control of the ball when Jan-Olof Alefors tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 12 minutes, Stig-Åke Wallgren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Harestad and the Virserum players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 12th match minute, Harestad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stig-Åke Wallgren to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes into the game, Jonas Brandt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ingvar Söderman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Björn Nordin struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Ingvar Söderman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Harestad. Karl-Axel Olsman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingvar Söderman having to interfere. If Jonas Brandt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 33 minutes into the game, Roland Åberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Virserum's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Harestad the free kick. After a rather tough play, Virserum's Roland Åberg got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Urban Sörman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd match minute, Harestad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eric Åkesson to maneuver through the defense. 44 minutes into the match, Harestad's goalkeeper Fredric Gustavsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jan-Olof Alefors. 46 minutes into the game, Jan-Olof Alefors was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Virserum's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Harestad the free kick. Jan-Olof Alefors hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After the first half Harestad were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Björn Nordin to make the kick off. Jan-Olof Alefors fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fredric Gustavsson having to interfere. Björn Nordin struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Ingvar Söderman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Harestad. Fredric Gustavsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan-Olof Alefors in the 60th minute of the match. In the 63rd minute Urban Sörman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fredric Gustavsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jan-Olof Alefors recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jan-Olof Alefors fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fredric Gustavsson having to interfere. Virserum's Ingvar Söderman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Virserum from getting a goal against them. Urban Sörman took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fredric Gustavsson. Fredric Gustavsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Jonas Brandt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingvar Söderman having to interfere. Roland Åberg hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Björn Nordin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Ingvar Söderman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
