Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Bureå's Boris Larsson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpected shot in the 6th minute by Boris Larsson got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Claes Alströmmer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Sven-Edvin Gernberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sven-Edvin Gernberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boris Larsson in the 10th minute of the match. If Boris Larsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute, Hans Byström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Claes Alströmmer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Patric Rudkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Östra Ryd IK's goalkeeper Sven-Edvin Gernberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 25thth minute of the game Jim Lång who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bureå's Leonardo Landin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jim Lång fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Landin having to interfere. Torbjörn Hurtig's late challenge caught a Östra Ryd IK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Torbjörn Hurtig helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 35th minute of the game. One of Bureå:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Östra Ryd IK:s goal. Allan Nordgren charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Allan Nordgren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 41 played minutes Bureå got a freekick which was hit by Allan Nordgren. 44 minutes into the match, Bureå's goal looked a bit too open when Stig-Ove Sundström came free, but Leonardo Landin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Boris Larsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
In the 62nd minute Boris Larsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Edvin Gernberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 63 minutes, Benjamin Vik mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bureå and the Östra Ryd IK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Stig-Ove Sundström had several of the Bureå's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 65 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-4 score and a disappointed Leonardo Landin as he didn't even see the shot coming. Jim Lång fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Landin having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Bureå's zone, Stig-Ove Sundström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonardo Landin came out of the goal and Stig-Ove Sundström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bureå's Leonardo Landin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Bureå from getting a goal against them. Leonardo Landin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stig-Ove Sundström in the 73rd minute of the match. Boris Larsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Sven-Edvin Gernberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 81 minutes of play, Östra Ryd IK's Stig-Ove Sundström made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leonardo Landin was left in no man's land by his defense there! 85 minutes into the match, Östra Ryd IK's goal looked a bit too open when Claes Alströmmer came free, but Sven-Edvin Gernberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute, Hans Byström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Boris Larsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Edvin Gernberg having to interfere. If Claes Alströmmer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonardo Landin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stig-Ove Sundström in the 96th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Östra Ryd IK had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
