Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Östra Ryd IK's Stig-Ove Sundström started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Emanuel Grep hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Casper Hellsing received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Sven-Edvin Gernberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Henry Alkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Casper Hellsing in the 13th minute of play forced Östra Ryd IK's goalkeeper Sven-Edvin Gernberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hans Byström hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 15th minute, Christoffer Fernkvist sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Östra Ryd IK's Sven-Edvin Gernberg didn't even have to move. Harry Lindberg struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Sven-Edvin Gernberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mollösund. If Casper Hellsing had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hans Byström charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hans Byström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 22nd minute, Hans Byström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 26 minutes into the game, Gustaf Wållander was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mollösund's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Östra Ryd IK the free kick. 27 minutes into the match, Östra Ryd IK's Jim Lång sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Albert Söderström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Östra Ryd IK booed when Mollösund was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan-Erik Larsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Mollösund's goalkeeper Albert Söderström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jim Lång. Sven-Edvin Gernberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Casper Hellsing in the 34th minute of the match. Albert Söderström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stig-Ove Sundström's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Casper Hellsing sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Harry Lindberg came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Mollösund fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Harry Lindberg couldn't finish the play. Casper Hellsing recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Casper Hellsing made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Casper Hellsing in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sven-Edvin Gernberg saved Östra Ryd IK from getting behind. The supporters of Östra Ryd IK booed when Mollösund was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustaf Wållander didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edmund Ek took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 62nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Albert Söderström. Mollösund's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Albert Söderström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jim Lång in the 63rd minute of the match. After 64 played minutes Mollösund got a freekick which was hit by Kjell-Arne Arenstedt. Albert Söderström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jim Lång in the 67th minute of play. Jim Lång fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albert Söderström having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Östra Ryd IK's goalkeeper Sven-Edvin Gernberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Harry Lindberg. In the 82nd minute, Jim Lång ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Albert Söderström was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Harry Lindberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mollösund's supporters rose to their feet, but Harry Lindberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sven-Edvin Gernberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Harry Lindberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Edvin Gernberg having to interfere. The Östra Ryd IK support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
