Magne Anselius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Axel Andersson in the 14th minute of the match. Jonny Fors's late challenge caught a Kälarne IK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The supporters of Kälarne IK booed when Vrigstad FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wictor Martinsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kälarne IK's Jan-Ove Arenius got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carl Nord kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Vrigstad FF's Robin Holmberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ian Blomquist in the 32nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Vrigstad FF's Wictor Martinsson got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Ian Blomquist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robin Holmberg having to interfere. The supporters of Kälarne IK booed when Vrigstad FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wictor Martinsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th minute Sven Bergqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Magne Anselius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute, Ian Blomquist fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Robin Holmberg, passed just outside the right post. Robin Holmberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ian Blomquist in the 41st minute of the match. Karl-Axel Andersson scored 0-1 in the 49th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Magne Anselius, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Einar Vennerlund kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Kälarne IK's Einar Vennerlund got a free kick in the 64th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sven Bergqvist in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Magne Anselius prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 78th minute Sven Bergqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Magne Anselius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Vrigstad FF defense, Ian Blomquist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Robin Holmberg. The Vrigstad FF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Robin Holmberg should have stopped the shot. 85 minutes into the match, Ian Blomquist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Robin Holmberg. Vrigstad FF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ian Blomquist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 95th match minute, Kälarne IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Einar Vennerlund to maneuver through the defense. Karl-Axel Andersson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. During the 100th minute of the match Jonny Fors completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Jonny Fors a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Jonny Fors hit a great freekick 100 minutes into the match. Vrigstad FF's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
