Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Sollebrunn IFK's Kristian Gunnarsson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Kristian Gunnarsson fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sollebrunn IFK's protests and gave Kristian Gunnarsson a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Sollebrunn IFK getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Kristian Gunnarsson hit a great ball. Greger Wennerlund who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 13thth minute tested the skills of Mårten Bergvall when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Wilhelm Ström fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sundsvall IF's protests and gave Wilhelm Ström a yellow card for diving instead. In the 16th minute of the match Georg Wållander shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adam Söderberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Caspersson in the 17th minute of play forced Sundsvall IF's goalkeeper Adam Söderberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Greger Wennerlund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Mårten Bergvall made a huge save. Jan Alebeck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Mårten Bergvall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Axel Caspersson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jan Alebeck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Mårten Bergvall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sundsvall IF's Adam Söderberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Caspersson in the 42nd minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Kristian Gunnarsson notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Sundsvall IF's Adam Söderberg. Adam Söderberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 46th match minute, Sollebrunn IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kjell-Arne Biörkquist to maneuver through the defense. Sundsvall IF's Greger Wennerlund got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Sundsvall IF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sollebrunn IFK were winning 0-1.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jan Alebeck stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 57th minute of the game. One of Sundsvall IF:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sollebrunn IFK:s goal. Georg Wållander shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Mårten Bergvall stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Greger Wennerlund's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Axel Caspersson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adam Söderberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Greger Wennerlund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sollebrunn IFK's goalkeeper Mårten Bergvall, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Axel Caspersson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Adam Söderberg made a huge save. Axel Caspersson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Adam Söderberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
