Alf Söderlund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Örjan Kollberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roknäs's Olov Sjöman got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Viggo Lindberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 19 minutes, Lars Ånger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Åmotfors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lars Ånger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 25 minutes into the game, Örjan Kollberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Alf Söderlund was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 30th minute, Viggo Lindberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Karl-Johan Nyberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After some careless play in the Roknäs defense, Lars Ånger kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alf Söderlund. The Roknäs fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alf Söderlund should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Olov Sjöman during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Roknäs getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Olov Sjöman hit a great ball.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Örjan Kollberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lars Ånger in the 52ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alf Söderlund, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Örjan Kollberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alf Söderlund having to interfere. After having played for 59 minutes, Olov Sjöman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lars Ångers short, quick shot in the 60thth minute got Alf Söderlund to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Simon Stor during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 69 played minutes Roknäs got a freekick which was hit by Simon Stor. 70 minutes into the match, Roknäs's goalkeeper Alf Söderlund had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lars Ånger. Roknäs's Simon Stor got his second yellow card of the match in the 71st minute. The referee ordered Simon Stor off the ground. In the 72nd minute, Simon Stor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olov Sjöman in the 84th minute of play forced Åmotfors's goalkeeper Karl-Johan Nyberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Olov Sjöman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Roknäs's supporters rose to their feet, but Olov Sjöman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karl-Johan Nyberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Åmotfors walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
