Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Kåre Bäcklin got the match started through his kick off. Ian Haglund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Magne Axelsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ian Haglund in the 5th minute of the match. Helgum's Ian Haglund got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Frank Hök sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Frank Hök came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Helgum fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Hök couldn't finish the play. If Frank Hök had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Johannes Stenman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frank Hök could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Magne Axelsson made a huge save. Johannes Stenman took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valdemar Falkrantz. Valdemar Falkrantz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Valdemar Falkrantz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johannes Stenman, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After a rather tough play, Helgum's Sven-Åke Holmgren got a free kick in the 42nd minute. After 45 minutes, Olov Klint mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Helgum and the Timrå FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 45th minute, Olov Klint hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Timrå FF's Mats Albäck got a free kick in the 47th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ian Haglund to strike the kick off in the second half. Frank Hök sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 53 played minutes Timrå FF got a freekick which was hit by Mats Albäck. Ian Haglund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Magne Axelsson having to interfere. Magne Axelsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ian Haglund in the 58th minute of play. 61 minutes into the game, one of Helgum:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. If Frank Hök had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sven-Arne Martinsson charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sven-Arne Martinsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Timrå FF's Sven-Arne Martinsson got a free kick in the 66th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frank Hök in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Magne Axelsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Helgum's Ian Haglund in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Timrå FF's goalie prevented a goal. If Frank Hök had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Magne Axelsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ian Haglund in the 76th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kåre Bäcklin got free with Valdemar Falkrantz in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Magne Axelsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ian Haglund in the 92nd minute of the match. Kåre Bäcklin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Valdemar Falkrantz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Timrå FF players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
