The audience was convinced that André Stolpe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sten Fransson was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. After 20 minutes, Valentin Borre mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ryssby and the Grangärde players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 20th match minute, Ryssby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentin Borre to maneuver through the defense. Ryssby's Frank Sellberg got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kristoffer Anundsson was the one to do the kick off. Axel Brogren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tony Rosendal having to interfere. In the 54th minute Axel Brogren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony Rosendal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Axel Brogren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tony Rosendal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. A very good chance. 70 minutes into the match, Frank Sellberg notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Grangärde's Tony Rosendal. Tony Rosendal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee ignored Ryssby's protests and gave Frank Sellberg a yellow card for diving instead. After 90 minutes of play Ryssby's Malcolm Sundling was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground.
