Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ian Löfskog got the match started through his kick off. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hyssna FF's goalkeeper Richard Magnusson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Östen Abrahamsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Richard Magnusson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sivert Häll fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gottfrid Fredriksson having to interfere. Ian Löfskog might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gottfrid Fredriksson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ian Löfskog ran back to his position shaking his head. Östen Abrahamsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Richard Magnusson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Husby-Rekarne's Lars-Erik Söderström got a free kick in the 19th minute. Gottfrid Fredriksson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sivert Häll went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Richard Magnusson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dan Holmberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dan Holmberg was extremely unlucky when he, in the 27th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 30th minute Ian Löfskog shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gottfrid Fredriksson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gottfrid Fredriksson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ian Löfskog in the 32nd minute of play. When Husby-Rekarne's Dan Holmberg in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hyssna FF's goalie prevented a goal. Östen Abrahamsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Richard Magnusson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dan Holmberg in the 37th minute of the match. Gottfrid Fredriksson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ian Löfskog, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Hyssna FF's Richard Magnusson got control of the ball when Östen Abrahamsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dan Holmberg was the one to do the kick off. Husby-Rekarne's Gottfrid Fredriksson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Husby-Rekarne from getting a goal against them. After 60 played minutes Hyssna FF got a freekick which was hit by Lennart Bäcklin. Richard Magnusson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Östen Abrahamsson in the 62nd minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, Dan Holmberg notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Hyssna FF's Richard Magnusson. Richard Magnusson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 75th minute, Bernt Thorsberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 76 minutes, Östen Abrahamsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Husby-Rekarne's supporters crossed their fingers, but Östen Abrahamsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 80th minute Ian Löfskog shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gottfrid Fredriksson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Husby-Rekarne fans' excitement grew in the 84th match minute when Husby-Rekarne's Östen Abrahamsson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of Husby-Rekarne booed when Hyssna FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tommy Wickander didn't get a good kick on the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Hyssna FF's goal looked a bit too open when Dan Holmberg came free, but Richard Magnusson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sivert Häll fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gottfrid Fredriksson having to interfere. Husby-Rekarne's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
