Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dan Holmberg started the match with the kick off. Östen Abrahamsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dan Holmberg in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcus Åhman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Stocksund IF's Claes Aleberg got a free kick in the 8th minute. Stefan Skarkman lost his temper 12 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 12th minute of the game. One of Stocksund IF:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Husby-Rekarne:s goal. The referee gave Husby-Rekarne a penalty, 14 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Josef Lundin, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Stocksund IF's Marcus Åhman. 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Östen Abrahamsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Husby-Rekarne's supporters rose to their feet, but Östen Abrahamsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcus Åhman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Stocksund IF's goalkeeper Marcus Åhman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 27th minute by Pontus Tham got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Gottfrid Fredriksson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pontus Tham went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Marcus Åhman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dan Holmberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Husby-Rekarne were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after Stocksund IF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Josef Lundin took the corner. Stocksund IF's Georg Almkvist got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pontus Tham was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Pontus Tham had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gottfrid Fredriksson. Husby-Rekarne's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pontus Tham was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Pontus Tham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pontus Tham received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Gottfrid Fredriksson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Lars-Erik Söderström fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Husby-Rekarne's protests and gave Lars-Erik Söderström a yellow card for diving instead. After 63 played minutes Husby-Rekarne got a freekick which was hit by Lars-Erik Söderström. Gottfrid Fredriksson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pontus Tham in the 64th minute of the match. In the 67th minute of the match Henrik Waller shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gottfrid Fredriksson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Husby-Rekarne's Dan Holmberg was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 70th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Pontus Tham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gottfrid Fredriksson having to interfere. Gottfrid Fredriksson was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Gilbert Vikström hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 89th minute, Östen Abrahamsson fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Dan Holmberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
