When Kenny Benett fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nye's protests and gave Kenny Benett a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Nykroppa BK booed when Nye was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kenny Benett didn't get a good kick on the ball. Svante Gustafsson, 5 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Jens-Ola Haegg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Karl-Michael Brodin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Nykroppa BK's Gustav Almstedt got control of the ball when Esbjörn Isaksson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Esbjörn Isaksson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustav Almstedt having to interfere. Elliott Asplund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Gustav Almstedt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 26 minutes into the game, Elliott Asplund recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gustav Almstedt. If Jens-Ola Haegg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 43 minutes, John Westerstrand mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nye and the Nykroppa BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 43rd match minute, Nye was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by John Westerstrand to maneuver through the defense. 45 minutes into the match, Nykroppa BK's Jens-Ola Haegg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Karl-Michael Brodin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Elliott Asplund made the kick off in the second half. If Elliott Asplund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esbjörn Isaksson in the 89th minute of play forced Nykroppa BK's goalkeeper Gustav Almstedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carl Axelsson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 93rdth minute tested the skills of Karl-Michael Brodin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Nye's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
