A collision led to Valdemarsvik IF getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Elliott Åberg hit a great ball. Edvard Holmberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rickard Åström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the match, Dyltabruk's goal looked a bit too open when Boris Almqvist came free, but Edvard Holmberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rickard Åström in the 29th minute of play forced Dyltabruk's goalkeeper Edvard Holmberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute Boris Almqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edvard Holmberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Boris Almqvist could shoot a difficult shot in the 73rd minute, which Edvard Holmberg however easily saved by the left post. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Rickard Åström took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Edvard Holmberg to make any attempt to save it.
