Bertil Pettersson didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-0 via right post in the game's 7th minute. Björbo's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! After a defensive mix-up in Västerås's zone, Karl Arenstedt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leo Classon came out of the goal and Karl Arenstedt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Karl Arenstedt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Leo Classon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Björbo's Bertil Pettersson in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 25th match minute, Björbo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Klas Bagge to maneuver through the defense. Jan Malmberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcus Backlund. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Björbo's Marcus Backlund proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Björbo from getting a goal against them. 74 minutes into the match, Björbo's goalkeeper Marcus Backlund had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Olof Nordal. Olof Nordal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Olof Nordal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Västerås's supporters rose to their feet, but Olof Nordal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcus Backlund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Andréas Brenner, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 82 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Marcus Backlund was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Bertil Pettersson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Leo Classon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 91 minutes into the match, Björbo's goalkeeper Marcus Backlund had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Olof Nordal. Västerås were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
