Joakim Sundström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. David Jonsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 25 minutes, Henning Stenström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Östra Ljungby BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henning Stenström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Östra Ljungby BK defense, Alfred Säf kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of David Jonsson. The Östra Ljungby BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that David Jonsson should have stopped the shot. 42 minutes into the match, Flarken IFK's goalkeeper Robert Nyman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Börge Offendahl. The supporters of Östra Ljungby BK booed when Flarken IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kurt Göransson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th minute, Börge Offendahl got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Flarken IFK were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
