Svenstavik's Sven-Oskar Haegg got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Patrik Friberger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute, Patrik Friberger fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 36th minute Patrik Friberger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Håkan Broman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Ås IF getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Edwin Asklöv hit a great ball. Svenstavik's Rolf Kruse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nils Mattsson in the 45th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Patrik Friberger made the kick off in the second half. Patrik Friberger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Håkan Broman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Patrik Friberger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
