Nils Mattsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Max Billberg having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nils Mattsson in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Max Billberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Håkan Broman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tobias Jansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. The supporters of Tomteboda booed when Ås IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Albohm didn't get a good kick on the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Nils Mattsson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Max Billberg, 1-0. Håkan Broman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tobias Jansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Tomas Billock managed to get in a good position for a shot. After a defensive mix-up in Ås IF's zone, Tomas Billock stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Håkan Broman came out of the goal and Tomas Billock tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Tobias Jansson put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Håkan Broman. Kurt Kolberg's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Max Billberg firmly grabbed it by the left post. Håkan Broman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Billock, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Tomteboda's Max Billberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Tomteboda from getting a goal against them. Max Billberg made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Kurt Kolberg sent off a good shot on target. Tomteboda's Tobias Jansson got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ås IF's Håkan Broman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Billock in the 43rd minute of play. The supporters of Tomteboda booed when Ås IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Albohm didn't get a good kick on the ball. 45 minutes into the game, Tomas Billock cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Håkan Broman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Nils Mattsson made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Ås IF's zone, Tobias Jansson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Håkan Broman came out of the goal and Tobias Jansson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 65th minute, Nils Mattsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tomas Billock received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Håkan Broman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute Kurt Kolberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Max Billberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Albohm charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonathan Albohm the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jonathan Albohm hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tobias Jansson in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Håkan Broman saved Ås IF from getting behind. 79 minutes into the match, Ås IF's goalkeeper Håkan Broman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Billock. Tomas Billock blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Håkan Broman having to make a save. Håkan Broman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tobias Jansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Håkan Broman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Billock in the 87th minute. Wilhelm Andersson kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 94th match minute, Ås IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Albohm to maneuver through the defense.
