Roger Palmkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Backman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Backman took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roger Palmkvist. The audience was convinced that Ulf Blom's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roger Palmkvist was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. 32 minutes into the game, Jonathan Backman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pelle Åström was the one to do the kick off. Anders Samuelsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viktor Isaksson having to interfere. The Strömsund IFK players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
