Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. William Forss started the match with the kick off. After 4 played minutes Grönskåra got a freekick which was hit by Thomas Lustig. 8 minutes into the game, Hannes Vestberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Edsbyn's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Grönskåra the free kick. The supporters of Grönskåra booed when Edsbyn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hannes Vestberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Walter Hydén sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 13 minutes into the match, Walter Hydén had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Linus Fredriksson. Edsbyn's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Walter Hydén was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gabriel Asserlind got free with Oscar Frykberg in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. William Forss's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oscar Frykberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Edsbyn's Stellan Olsman got a free kick in the 23rd minute. 24 minutes into the match, Grönskåra's Elliott Örtendahl broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Lennart Soned kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. With a little luck, Grönskåra's Oscar Frykberg got control of the ball when Gabriel Asserlind tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 34 minutes, William Forss managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Thanks to some nice moves Gabriel Asserlind could shoot a difficult shot in the 45th minute, which Oscar Frykberg however easily saved by the left post. If William Forss had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The wind increased when Walter Hydén made the kick off in the second half. Sven-Olof Biörkman might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Linus Fredriksson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sven-Olof Biörkman ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 55th minute Walter Hydén shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Linus Fredriksson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bengt-Arne Eriksson's late challenge caught a Edsbyn's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bengt-Arne Eriksson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 64th minute, Bengt-Arne Eriksson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gabriel Asserlind received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Oscar Frykberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Walter Hydén's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Linus Fredriksson was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Edsbyn's Linus Fredriksson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walter Hydén in the 71st minute of play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sven-Olof Biörkman couldn't finish the play. In the 77th minute, Sven-Olof Biörkman fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Linus Fredriksson, passed just outside the right post. Walter Hydén sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Grönskåra getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Inge Emander hit a great ball. After 80 played minutes, Edsbyn's Erik Skoog shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Oscar Frykberg came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Edsbyn reached it. Gabriel Asserlind fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oscar Frykberg having to interfere. After 85 played minutes Grönskåra got a freekick which was hit by Inge Emander. William Forss scored 1-1 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Oscar Frykberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Grönskåra's Oscar Frykberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Asserlind in the 90th minute of play. Oscar Frykberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William Forss in the 92nd minute of play. Walter Hydén received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Linus Fredriksson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
