Walter Hydén recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 14thth minute of the game Walter Hydén who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kvidinge's Bengt Ahlquist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Grönskåra's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Haglund came free, but Oscar Frykberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Haglund in the 20th minute of play forced Grönskåra's goalkeeper Oscar Frykberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Walter Hydén received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Bengt Ahlquist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 40 minutes into the match, Walter Hydén notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Kvidinge's Bengt Ahlquist. Bengt Ahlquist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 44 minutes, Alex Nyberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kvidinge and the Grönskåra players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 44 played minutes Kvidinge got a freekick which was hit by Alex Nyberg.

The wind increased when Walter Hydén made the kick off in the second half. Bengt Ahlquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walter Hydén in the 55th minute of play. When Birger Sundin fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kvidinge's protests and gave Birger Sundin a yellow card for diving instead. In the 57th minute, Birger Sundin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 61 minutes into the match, Grönskåra's Sven-Olof Biörkman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bengt Ahlquist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Frank Haglund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oscar Frykberg was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Gösta Sikström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oscar Frykberg having to interfere. Walter Hydén recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Frank Haglund's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oscar Frykberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. When Sven-Olof Biörkman came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Grönskåra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sven-Olof Biörkman couldn't finish the play. Walter Hydén sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sven-Olof Biörkman was extremely unlucky when he, in the 94th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out.
