Tord Telin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Degerhamn's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Teckomatorp RK the free kick. In the 36th minute, Fredrik Aleberg fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Kjell Wästerberg, passed just outside the right post. Tord Telin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Ekelund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gustaf Dahlkvist during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
