Bo Ekberg really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Marcus Lundhberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens-Åke Ekström having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Börje Fristedt in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adrian Berglund saved Hakenäset FK from getting behind. In the 20th minute, Stefan Hammarbäck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 21 minutes into the match, Munkfors's goalkeeper Jens-Åke Ekström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcus Lundhberg. Börje Fristedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Berglund having to interfere. Marcus Lundhberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Marcus Lundhberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hakenäset FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcus Lundhberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jens-Åke Ekström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 39th minute Bengt-Rune Lundin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Berglund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Börje Fristedt struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Adrian Berglund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Munkfors. Adrian Berglund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bengt-Rune Lundin in the 42nd minute of the match. Marcus Lundhberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jens-Åke Ekström having to make a save. Bo Ekberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Jens-Åke Ekström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bo Ekberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcus Lundhberg to strike the kick off in the second half. When Bo Ekberg, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 52 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Jens-Åke Ekström was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Jens-Åke Ekström came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Hakenäset FK's Bo Ekberg. But to his dismay, Bo Ekberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Börje Fristedt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Adrian Berglund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcus Lundhberg in the 66th minute of play forced Munkfors's goalkeeper Jens-Åke Ekström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcus Lundhberg struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Jens-Åke Ekström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hakenäset FK. If Marcus Lundhberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Hakenäset FK's Marcus Lundhberg in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Munkfors's goalie prevented a goal. Munkfors's Bertil Melin suffered a concussion in the 79th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Rune Lundgren kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Adrian Berglund came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Munkfors's Börje Fristedt. But to his dismay, Börje Fristedt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Marcus Lundhberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jens-Åke Ekström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Bo Ekberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Börje Fristedt's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 95thth minute, Adrian Berglund skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Munkfors walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
