Lars Larsfält's late challenge caught a Tänndalen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Gunnar Vinström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tänndalen's supporters rose to their feet, but Gunnar Vinström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Harald Knutsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bengt-Åke Ahlrot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johan Hedberg having to interfere. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bengt-Åke Ahlrot stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Roger Lövskog helped the player get up and apologised. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bengt-Åke Ahlrot in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Johan Hedberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 91st minute Kent Ekrot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harald Knutsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Bengt-Åke Ahlrot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
