Olov Waller hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Rydsgård's Reine Österberg got a free kick in the 4th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Rydsgård's zone, Sture Galle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arvid Överman came out of the goal and Sture Galle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Olov Waller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reine Österberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 20 minutes into the match, Björna BK's goal looked a bit too open when Jens-Ove Enström came free, but George Björnberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Elof Jonsson fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Björna BK's protests and gave Elof Jonsson a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Björna BK's Elof Jonsson got a free kick in the 22nd minute. George Björnberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reine Österberg in the 24th minute of play. When Jens-Ove Enström came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Rydsgård fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jens-Ove Enström couldn't finish the play. Jens-Ove Enström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without George Björnberg having to interfere. Arvid Överman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sture Galle in the 34th minute. Jens-Ove Enström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Björna BK's Elof Jonsson got his second yellow card of the match in the 38th minute. The referee ordered Elof Jonsson off the ground. The supporters of Rydsgård booed when Björna BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elof Jonsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jens-Ove Enström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but George Björnberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. If Niklas Björklund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jens-Ove Enström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. George Björnberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The wind increased when Sture Galle made the kick off in the second half. Reine Österbergs short, quick shot in the 53rdth minute got George Björnberg to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After having played for 56 minutes, Jens-Ove Enström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rydsgård's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jens-Ove Enström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Niklas Björklund was extremely unlucky when he, in the 58th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. George Björnberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jens-Ove Enström went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. If Jens-Ove Enström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Björna BK's George Björnberg got control of the ball when Mårten Pihlberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jens-Ove Enström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. George Björnberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Björna BK's George Björnberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Björna BK from getting a goal against them. Jens-Ove Enström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but George Björnberg made a huge save. After some careless play in the Björna BK defense, Jens-Ove Enström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of George Björnberg. The Björna BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that George Björnberg should have stopped the shot. Jens-Ove Enström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but George Björnberg made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Jens-Ove Enström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rydsgård's supporters rose to their feet, but Jens-Ove Enström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. George Björnberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mårten Pihlberg in the 90th minute of play forced Björna BK's goalkeeper George Björnberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute Reine Österberg suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. The supporters of Rydsgård booed when Björna BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olov Waller didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jens-Ove Enström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Simon Ambjörnsson came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Rydsgård fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Simon Ambjörnsson couldn't finish the play.
