Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Forserum's Sten Lundqvist started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Henrik Ahlrot could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Leif Kielstedt made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Sten Lundqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Forserum's supporters rose to their feet, but Sten Lundqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Torsten Boström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sten Lundqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Krister Säv recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Forserum's Leif Jönsson got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Henrik Ahlrot scored 1-0 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leif Kielstedt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 32nd minute Leif Jönsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torsten Boström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Dan Allbom fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sysslebäck's protests and gave Dan Allbom a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Sysslebäck getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Dan Allbom hit a great ball. When Sten Lundqvist came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Forserum fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sten Lundqvist couldn't finish the play. Torsten Boström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sten Lundqvist in the 47th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Krister Säv to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leif Jönsson got free with Torsten Boström in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Joar Brenner kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Leif Kielstedt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Krister Säv, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Henrik Ahlrot blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leif Kielstedt having to make a save. 67 minutes into the game, Joar Brenner was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Forserum's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sysslebäck the free kick. Joar Brenner kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Rudolf Olsson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 69th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Leif Kielstedt. Forserum's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Forserum's goal looked a bit too open when Henrik Ahlrot came free, but Leif Kielstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sten Lundqvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Torsten Boström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Sten Lundqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Sten Lundqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Torsten Boström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sten Lundqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sysslebäck's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
