Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Karl-Michael Hellström started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute, Tony Forss sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Rinkaby RK's Ture Colin didn't even have to move. Kennet Lindkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Rinkaby RK's zone, Jens-Ove Rudberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ture Colin came out of the goal and Jens-Ove Rudberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mårten Haraldssons short, quick shot in the 18thth minute got Ture Colin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ture Colin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carl Lindblom in the 19th minute of play. In the 25th minute, Karl-Michael Hellström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rinkaby RK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Kennet Lindkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Daniel Backman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes into the game, Jens-Ove Rudberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arvika BF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rinkaby RK the free kick. A collision led to Arvika BF getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Jens-Ove Rudberg hit a great ball. In the 34th minute Rinkaby RK were awarded a corner. Niklas Västberg went to the cornerflag to take it. 38 minutes into the match, Rinkaby RK's Karl-Michael Hellström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Daniel Backman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Tony Forss came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Arvika BF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tony Forss couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mårten Haraldsson got free with Ture Colin in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carl Lindblom made a kick off. Mårten Haraldsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Ture Colin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sten Offendahl during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Arvika BF booed when Rinkaby RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sten Offendahl didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jens-Ove Rudberg was shown his second yellow card after 64 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 71st minute, Karl-Michael Hellström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Arvika BF's Bertil Godholm got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Karl-Michael Hellström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Daniel Backman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Rinkaby RK booed when Arvika BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carl Lindblom didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th match minute, Arvika BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tony Forss to maneuver through the defense. Mårten Haraldsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Ture Colin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Backman made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Kennet Lindkvist sent off a good shot on target. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Arvika BF's goalkeeper Daniel Backman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Rinkaby RK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
