Ulf Kihlman might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Torsten Byström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ulf Kihlman ran back to his position shaking his head. Carl Eriksson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Carlsson in the 10th minute of play forced Timmernabben BF's goalkeeper Verner Edström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the game, Kenny Lind was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Timmernabben BF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brösarp the free kick. A collision led to Timmernabben BF getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Kenny Lind hit a great ball. Viktor Arvidsson was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 13th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Thomas Carlsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Timmernabben BF's Verner Edström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carl Eriksson in the 21st minute of play. Verner Edström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carl Eriksson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute, Emil Helander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Torsten Byström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulf Kihlman, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. 33 minutes into the game, Brösarp's Thomas Carlsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Verner Edström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Brösarp's zone, Ulf Kihlman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Torsten Byström came out of the goal and Ulf Kihlman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Brösarp's Torsten Byström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Brösarp from getting a goal against them. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ulf Kihlman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute Ulf Kihlman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torsten Byström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carl Eriksson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Verner Edström having to interfere. Torsten Byström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charlie Söderqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Torsten Byström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Charlie Söderqvist's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Verner Edström made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Carl Eriksson sent off a good shot on target. In the 69th minute Thomas Carlsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Verner Edström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Thomas Carlsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Timmernabben BF's Verner Edström got control of the ball when Carl Eriksson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thomas Carlsson in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Verner Edström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 75th minute, Carl Eriksson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ulf Kihlman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 91st minute Charlie Söderqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torsten Byström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Ulf Kihlman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Timmernabben BF fans cheered their team off the field, for while Brösarp had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
