Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Rudolf Vedholm started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Sven-Erik Linberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rudolf Vedholm in the 4th minute of play. When Rudolf Rosendal came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Burseryd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rudolf Rosendal couldn't finish the play. After 14 played minutes Burseryd got a freekick which was hit by Georg Lund. If Arvid Fransson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dan Fogel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rudolf Rosendal's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Rudolf Rosendal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Dan Fogel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Rudolf Vedholm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sven-Erik Linberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arvid Fransson in the 24th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, Gällivare's Rudolf Vedholm sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sven-Erik Linberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gottfrid Ambjörnsson kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Burseryd's Leif Melberg got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 33 minutes into the match, Gällivare's goal looked a bit too open when Rudolf Rosendal came free, but Dan Fogel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 36 minutes of play Burseryd's Georg Lund was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Georg Lund hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Arvid Fransson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 45 minutes, Gottfrid Brask mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Burseryd and the Gällivare players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gottfrid Brask hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Sven-Erik Linberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arvid Fransson, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leif Melberg to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Leif Melberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Burseryd's supporters rose to their feet, but Leif Melberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dan Fogel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 54 played minutes Burseryd got a freekick which was hit by Roland Salqvist. 55 minutes into the match, Gällivare's Rudolf Vedholm sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sven-Erik Linberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Arvid Fransson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Sven-Erik Linberg made a huge save. In the 58th match minute, Burseryd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rudolf Rosendal to maneuver through the defense. 59 minutes into the match, Gällivare's Patrik Vollander broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Arvid Fransson struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Sven-Erik Linberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gällivare. Arvid Fransson might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sven-Erik Linberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arvid Fransson ran back to his position shaking his head. Dan Fogel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leif Melberg in the 71st minute of the match. Arvid Fransson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sven-Erik Linberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Dan Fogel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leif Melberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Gottfrid Ambjörnsson kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Gällivare's Stellan Wenerdahl got a free kick in the 81st minute. If Rudolf Rosendal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gottfrid Ambjörnsson hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 93rd minute Rudolf Vedholm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Erik Linberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rudolf Vedholm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Sven-Erik Linberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
