After 47 played minutes Östersund got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Dusett. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Henric Sjöman hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. 81 minutes into the match, Enskededalen FK's Lars Rydberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sten Vassenius narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lars Rydberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sten Vassenius having to interfere. After some careless play in the Östersund defense, Lars Rydberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sten Vassenius. The Östersund fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sten Vassenius should have stopped the shot.
