An unexpectedly hard shot by Rickard Westerberg in the 10th minute of play forced Norrhult IF's goalkeeper Rune Karlsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rune Karlsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rickard Westerberg in the 11th minute of the match. In the 21st minute, Östen Ånger made a precise shot to the right of Rune Karlsson. Norrhult IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 26th minute, Aleksander Nyman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Östen Ånger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rune Karlsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Östen Ånger, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Sixten Nyman was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marcus Tingelholm showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 45 minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

If Ted Bolander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 65 minutes into the match, Huaröd's goal looked a bit too open when Ted Bolander came free, but Sixten Nyman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Aleksander Nyman fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Norrhult IF's protests and gave Aleksander Nyman a yellow card for diving instead. Östen Ånger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Rune Karlsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Östen Ånger hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Huaröd walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
