Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rolf Classon kicked off to start the match. In the 2nd match minute, Storsund was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sakarias Hjeltman to maneuver through the defense. Jonny Petersson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kenny Åkesson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 5thth minute of the game Kenny Åkesson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Storsund's Jonny Petersson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Karl-Michael Svanberg came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Skebobruk IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karl-Michael Svanberg couldn't finish the play. Kenny Åkesson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Jonny Petersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 14th minute by Karl-Michael Svanberg got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 20 minutes into the game, Storsund's Christopher Matsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Morgan Fribäck made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Karl-Michael Svanberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonny Petersson having to interfere. Christopher Matsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Morgan Fribäck having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Kenny Åkesson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonny Petersson. That made the score 1-1 in the 33 minute of play. Karl-Michael Svanberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Jonny Petersson made a huge save. 40 minutes into the match, Skebobruk IK's Kenny Åkesson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonny Petersson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Kenny Åkesson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kenny Åkesson made a kick off. Karl-Michael Svanberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rolf Classon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Morgan Fribäck having to make a save. Aleksander Lennartsson charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aleksander Lennartsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpected shot in the 63rd minute by Christopher Matsson got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Skebobruk IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kenny Åkesson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Karl-Michael Svanberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karl-Michael Svanberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonny Petersson having to interfere. A collision led to Skebobruk IK getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Aleksander Lennartsson hit a great ball. After 92 minutes, Gustav Lindkvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Skebobruk IK and the Storsund players grew even worse after the yellow card.
