Gunnar Eliasson hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Christopher Backlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Skebobruk IK's Morgan Fribäck proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Skebobruk IK from getting a goal against them. In the 6th minute, Skebobruk IK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Christopher Backlund fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Folke Wallander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kenny Åkesson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 12 minutes into the game, Gustav Lindkvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Skebobruk IK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Trönödal the free kick. A collision led to Skebobruk IK getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Gustav Lindkvist hit a great ball. In the 13th match minute, Trönödal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roger Sandström to maneuver through the defense. Folke Wallander came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Skebobruk IK's Kenny Åkesson. But to his dismay, Kenny Åkesson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Kenny Åkesson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christopher Backlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kjell Finsberg's late challenge caught a Skebobruk IK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kjell Finsberg helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Skebobruk IK booed when Trönödal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kjell Finsberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Trönödal getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Ola Hernström hit a great ball. Morgan Fribäck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christopher Backlund in the 31st minute of the match. Morgan Fribäck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olov Nyström, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Aleksander Lennartsson kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Morgan Fribäck acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 37th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Sven-Erik Vallman. After a defensive mix-up in Skebobruk IK's zone, Roger Sandström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Morgan Fribäck came out of the goal and Roger Sandström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 41st match minute, Skebobruk IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustav Lindkvist to maneuver through the defense. Christopher Backlund did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Morgan Fribäck 42 minutes into the match. Roger Sandström struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Morgan Fribäck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trönödal. Christopher Backlund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Morgan Fribäck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christopher Backlund in the 60th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the match, Trönödal's Roger Sandström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Morgan Fribäck narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 61 played minutes Skebobruk IK got a freekick which was hit by Arvin Ahlkvist. 64 minutes into the game, Karl-Michael Svanberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Folke Wallander was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kenny Åkesson in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Folke Wallander saved Trönödal from getting behind. Morgan Fribäck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roger Sandström in the 69th minute of play. After 74 minutes of play, Trönödal's Christopher Backlund made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Morgan Fribäck was left in no man's land by his defense there! Roger Sandström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Morgan Fribäck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christopher Backlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
