Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Munkfors RK's Daniel Stålberg started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Joacim Springfält received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Birger Ekelund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Daniel Stålberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Bromölla IF getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Alf Vik hit a great ball. Joacim Springfält kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingvar Persson in the 19th minute of play forced Munkfors RK's goalkeeper Leo Västerberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Torbjörn Benet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Västerberg having to interfere. Ingvar Persson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 25 minutes, Ingvar Persson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bromölla IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ingvar Persson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Bromölla IF defense, Joacim Springfält kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Birger Ekelund. The Bromölla IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Birger Ekelund should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Munkfors RK's Daniel Stålberg slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Birger Ekelund. That made the score 2-0 after 36 minutes of play. 41 minutes into the match, Munkfors RK's goal looked a bit too open when Torbjörn Benet came free, but Leo Västerberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Birger Ekelund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Stålberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. With a little luck, Bromölla IF's Birger Ekelund got control of the ball when Joacim Springfält tried to sneak it across the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Torbjörn Benet to make the kick off. Bromölla IF's Ingvar Persson got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joacim Springfält's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Birger Ekelund read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. In the 60th minute Leo Askberg suffered a knee injury and had to be helped off the field. After 60 minutes, Alf Vik mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bromölla IF and the Munkfors RK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 62 minutes, Eddie Falk mouthed his way into the referee's book. Munkfors RK's Per Vennerdal got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Munkfors RK's Joacim Springfält in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bromölla IF's goalie prevented a goal. Daniel Stålberg charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daniel Stålberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 92 played minutes Munkfors RK got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Stålberg. Bromölla IF's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
