Knut Västerberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Knut Västerberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Folke Asserlindh in the 5th minute of the match. If Kristian Blom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jerry Vallgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bettna RK's Jörn Jonsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boris Vassenius in the 16th minute of play. Jörn Jonsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boris Vassenius in the 18th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Orvar Telin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bettna RK's Jörn Jonsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boris Vassenius in the 20th minute of play. A collision led to Rosvik BF getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Rolf Ljungberg hit a great ball. When Bettna RK's Folke Asserlindh in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rosvik BF's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Kristian Blom managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rosvik BF's supporters rose to their feet, but Kristian Blom was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jörn Jonsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 34 minutes of play, Bettna RK's Jerry Vallgren made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Knut Västerberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rolf Ljungberg struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Jörn Jonsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rosvik BF. In the 44th play minute Kristian Blom came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jörn Jonsson. 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jerry Vallgren to strike the kick off in the second half. Folke Asserlindh got in the 53rd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Knut Västerberg handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Jerry Vallgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Knut Västerberg having to interfere. Folke Asserlindh came free with the goalkeeper in the 63rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Knut Västerberg could save by the left post. A collision led to Rosvik BF getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Nils-Emil Gabrielsson hit a great ball. In the 71st minute, Folke Asserlindh got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rolf Ljungberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jörn Jonsson having to make a save. 77 minutes into the game, Kristian Blom cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Jörn Jonsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Folke Asserlindh came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Bettna RK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Folke Asserlindh couldn't finish the play. After 84 played minutes Bettna RK got a freekick which was hit by Yngve Malmberg. After having played for 86 minutes, Folke Asserlindh managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bettna RK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Folke Asserlindh was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rosvik BF were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Bettna RK for a fine match.
