He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vadstena reached it. After having played for 47 minutes, Axel Nässén managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vadstena's supporters crossed their fingers, but Axel Nässén was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Anderstorp players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Vadstena were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Erik Söderlund to make the kick off. If Emanuel Käcker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59thth minute of the game Jesper Gustafsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vadstena's Bernt Blomqvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bernt Blomqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Söderlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Vadstena's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Nyqvist came free, but Bernt Blomqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jesper Gustafsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bernt Blomqvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jesper Gustafsson ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erik Söderlund in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernt Blomqvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bernt Blomqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jesper Gustafsson in the 83rd minute of play. Erik Söderlund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gustav Myr hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Anderstorp were awarded a corner in the 90th minute after Vadstena's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Valentin Gummeson took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Bengt-Rune Andersson heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. If Jesper Gustafsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 95 minutes, Emanuel Käcker managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vadstena's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emanuel Käcker was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vadstena's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
