Borrby BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. If Gösta Svartengren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gösta Svartengren struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Billy Ekenberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Koppom. Olov Jansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stig-Åke Örtlund in the 18th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stig-Åke Örtlund in the 19th minute of play forced Koppom's goalkeeper Olov Jansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Koppom getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Erik Ahlbom hit a great ball. Olov Jansson was a little too slow when Stig-Åke Örtlund got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joacim Linberg during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stig-Åke Örtlund in the 31st minute of play forced Koppom's goalkeeper Olov Jansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Stig-Åke Örtlund took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Olov Jansson to make any attempt to save it. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Gösta Svartengren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Koppom's supporters rose to their feet, but Gösta Svartengren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Billy Ekenberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Erik Ahlbom recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Erik Ahlbom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Billy Ekenberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Erik Ahlbom was the one to do the kick off. 59 minutes into the match, Borrby BK's goal looked a bit too open when Erik Ahlbom came free, but Billy Ekenberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sakarias Västerstrand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Stig-Åke Örtlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Borrby BK's Billy Ekenberg got control of the ball when Gösta Svartengren tried to sneak it across the goal line. Erik Ahlbom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Billy Ekenberg having to interfere. In the 71stth minute of the game Erik Ahlbom who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Borrby BK's Billy Ekenberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Koppom's Joacim Linberg got a free kick in the 73rd minute. After having played for 81 minutes, Stig-Åke Örtlund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Borrby BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stig-Åke Örtlund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sakarias Västerstrand received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Olov Jansson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Koppom defense, Sakarias Västerstrand kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Olov Jansson. The Koppom fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olov Jansson should have stopped the shot. Claes Bengtsson kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. 92 minutes into the match, Koppom's Magne Tholsson broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Borrby BK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
