In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Koppom's goalkeeper Olov Jansson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Erik Ahlbom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brian Isaksson having to interfere. Brian Isaksson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Erik Ahlbom went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Johannes Nyström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Brian Isaksson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nils Bergendahl's late challenge caught a Billeberga IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nils Bergendahl helped the player get up and apologised. In the 22nd match minute, Koppom was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nils Bergendahl to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Lars-Erik Håkansson from long distance, 23 minutes into the match, got Olov Jansson's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After a rather tough play, Koppom's Joacim Linberg got a free kick in the 24th minute. Olov Jansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henry Svensson in the 37th minute of play. Rune Bållström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Olov Jansson made a huge save. If Erik Ahlbom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th minute, Kasper Eckegren made a precise shot to the right of Olov Jansson. Koppom's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erik Ahlbom to strike the kick off in the second half. Gösta Svartengren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Billeberga IF's Brian Isaksson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik Ahlbom in the 56th minute of play. In the 60thth minute of the game Rune Bållström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Koppom's Olov Jansson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Billeberga IF's Rune Bållström in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Koppom's goalie prevented a goal. Erik Ahlbom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brian Isaksson having to interfere. 73 minutes into the game, Joacim Linberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Brian Isaksson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Brian Isaksson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erik Ahlbom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 79 minutes into the game, Koppom's Gösta Svartengren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Brian Isaksson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Erik Ahlbom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Billeberga IF's Henry Svensson got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 89 minutes into the match, Koppom's goal looked a bit too open when Rune Bållström came free, but Olov Jansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Henry Svensson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Billeberga IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Henry Svensson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olov Jansson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Olov Jansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rune Bållström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Henry Svensson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Olov Jansson having to make a save. In the 94th minute, Rune Bållström made a precise shot to the right of Olov Jansson. Koppom's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. The Billeberga IF fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Koppom were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
