Järpås's Birger Kvick proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Järpås from getting a goal against them. Järpås's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Köpmanholmen IK the free kick. A collision led to Järpås getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Ian Söderqwist hit a great ball. 22 minutes into the match, Köpmanholmen IK's Kurt Cane sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Birger Kvick narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Douglas Falck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Folke Ryberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The wind increased when Douglas Falck made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bo-Erik Hedberg during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Järpås getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Bo-Erik Hedberg hit a great ball. 58 minutes into the match, Köpmanholmen IK's Jim Kämpe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Birger Kvick narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Stig-Arne Svanberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Köpmanholmen IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Stig-Arne Svanberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Birger Kvick breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Douglas Falck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute, Douglas Falck ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Folke Ryberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Jim Kämpe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Folke Ryberg made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Douglas Falck sent off a good shot on target. 92 minutes into the game, Casper Dahlberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Köpmanholmen IK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Järpås the free kick. After 92 played minutes Köpmanholmen IK got a freekick which was hit by Casper Dahlberg. Douglas Falck struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Folke Ryberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Järpås. Douglas Falck succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-2 in the 96th playminute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
