If Henry Emander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kimstad IF's Hans Jönsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rasmus Sellberg in the 8th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Bo-Erik Alströmmer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14th minute Henry Emander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sverker Göransson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tony Collin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Österbymo IF getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Orvar Bruse hit a great ball. 31 minutes into the match, Kimstad IF's Tony Collin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sverker Göransson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 41 minutes, Karl-Michael Snell mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Österbymo IF and the Kimstad IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Karl-Michael Snell kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 42nd minute, Bo-Erik Alströmmer sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Österbymo IF's Sverker Göransson didn't even have to move. After 44 minutes, Christoffer Wästerberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Österbymo IF and the Kimstad IF players grew even worse after the yellow card.

The wind increased when Rasmus Sellberg made the kick off in the second half. In a very dangerous position, a player in Österbymo IF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 53rd minute. Penalty! Henry Emander's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 58thth minute, Sverker Göransson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Österbymo IF's Rasmus Sellberg got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Casper Bolander fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Österbymo IF's protests and gave Casper Bolander a yellow card for diving instead. If Tony Collin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 70 minutes, Rasmus Sellberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Österbymo IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rasmus Sellberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 74 minutes into the match, Kimstad IF's goal looked a bit too open when Rasmus Sellberg came free, but Hans Jönsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 79 minutes into the game, Österbymo IF's Rasmus Sellberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hans Jönsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. 85 minutes into the game, Jan Berggren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Hans Jönsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Through an outstanding action, after 89 minutes, Sverker Göransson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Henry Emander might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sverker Göransson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Henry Emander ran back to his position shaking his head. Österbymo IF's Sverker Göransson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christer Stenström in the 95th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jan Berggren in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hans Jönsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 98th minute Christer Stenström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sverker Göransson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kimstad IF's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
