Hans Jönsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nils-Emil Björkqvist in the 6th minute of play. Sven-Åke Nässén sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Kristoffer Bremming fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kimstad IF's protests and gave Kristoffer Bremming a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Kimstad IF getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Kristoffer Bremming hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sven-Åke Nässén got free with Hans Jönsson in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Tony Collin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kimstad IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Tony Collin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jan-Ove Stabbe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A long shot from Herman Browall in the 19th minute of play was well struck, but Hans Jönsson made a really good save at the right post. Nils-Emil Björkqvist struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Hans Jönsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alfta BF. Nils-Emil Björkqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Hans Jönsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 34 minutes, Nils-Emil Björkqvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alfta BF and the Kimstad IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nils-Emil Björkqvist hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Sven-Åke Nässén did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Hans Jönsson 38 minutes into the match.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tony Collin to strike the kick off in the second half. Jan-Ove Stabbe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tony Collin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Kristoffer Bremming was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 55 minutes had been played. In the 56th minute, Kristoffer Bremming hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hans Jönsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Åke Nässén in the 66th minute of play. Alfta BF's Sven-Åke Nässén got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Christer Stenström kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. If Henry Emander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Henry Emander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 88 played minutes Alfta BF got a freekick which was hit by Torbjörn Månsson. The audience thought a goal was coming when Henry Emander got free with Jan-Ove Stabbe in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nils-Emil Björkqvist struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Hans Jönsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alfta BF. After 95 played minutes Kimstad IF got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Ove Lindblom. When the referee blew the final whistle, Alfta BF could leave the field as winners, despite Kimstad IF having more of the ball for most of the match.
