In the 9th minute Leonardo Fogel managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. After a rather tough play, Fårösund's Daniel Johansson got a free kick in the 12th minute. Jens-Ove Westerstrand might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ulf Beckeman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jens-Ove Westerstrand ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Fårösund's Ulf Beckeman got control of the ball when Dag Vennerlund tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 23rdth minute of the game Sven Qvalfeldt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Silverdalen RK's Sven-Oskar Wennerberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 28 minutes into the game, Joachim Månsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Silverdalen RK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fårösund the free kick. Ola Forss fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Oskar Wennerberg having to interfere. Jens-Ove Westerstrand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulf Beckeman having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 72 minutes, Sven-Oskar Wennerberg successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Sven-Oskar Wennerberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven Qvalfeldt in the 73rd minute of play. Dag Vennerlund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Ulf Beckeman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Silverdalen RK booed when Fårösund was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Johansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Fårösund's goalkeeper Ulf Beckeman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sven-Oskar Wennerberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
