Josef Almkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonny Wallin charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonny Wallin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Hofors booed when Djurhamn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonny Wallin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Josef Almkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christer Engman in the 27th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Gunnar Klintæus left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hofors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Hofors's Filiph Eriksson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aron Norberg in the 36th minute of play. In the 39th minute of the match Tord Nyström shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Filiph Eriksson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Aron Norberg came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Djurhamn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aron Norberg couldn't finish the play. Sven-Erik Berglund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
An unexpectedly hard shot by Aron Norberg in the 56th minute of play forced Hofors's goalkeeper Filiph Eriksson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Filiph Eriksson came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Djurhamn's Aron Norberg. But to his dismay, Aron Norberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Sven-Erik Berglund struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Filiph Eriksson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Djurhamn. Tord Nyström's late challenge caught a Hofors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tord Nyström helped the player get up and apologised. Tord Nyström hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Filiph Eriksson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aron Norberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After 83 minutes, Sven-Erik Berglund made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Hofors's Filiph Eriksson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Hofors's Herbert Jakobsson got a free kick in the 86th minute. 87 minutes into the match, Djurhamn's Emanuel Granberg broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 90 minutes into the match, Djurhamn's Aron Norberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Filiph Eriksson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 92 minutes, Aron Norberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Djurhamn's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aron Norberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gunnar Klintæus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josef Almkvist having to interfere. Djurhamn's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
