Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Filip Sundén got the match started through his kick off. Anton Blomberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Björn Fransson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 3 minutes into the match, Björn Fransson notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Varekil FK's Anton Blomberg. Anton Blomberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 6 minutes into the match, Varekil FK's goal looked a bit too open when Björn Fransson came free, but Anton Blomberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Björn Fransson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anton Blomberg having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Björn Fransson in the 18th minute of play forced Varekil FK's goalkeeper Anton Blomberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fred Åström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Arhenius in the 22nd minute. Filip Sundén fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anton Blomberg having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filip Sundén in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anton Blomberg saved Varekil FK from getting behind. In the 34th minute, Varekil FK's Emil Johnsson seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Emil Johnsson the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Varekil FK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Emil Johnsson had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 34 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Varekil FK! Björn Fransson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Filip Sundén's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anton Blomberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Filip Sundén received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Anton Blomberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Västra Ämtervik were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Arhenius to make the kick off. Varekil FK's Anton Blomberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Varekil FK from getting a goal against them. In the 54th minute Patrik Hedin suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. 54 minutes into the game, Lars-Erik Lundgren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Varekil FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Västra Ämtervik the free kick. A collision led to Varekil FK getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Lars-Erik Lundgren hit a great ball. After 56 minutes, Orvar Hansson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Västra Ämtervik and the Varekil FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Orvar Hansson hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After 61 minutes, Björn Fransson made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Varekil FK's Anton Blomberg tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 74 minutes into the game, Björn Fransson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Anton Blomberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Västra Ämtervik's Fred Åström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Arhenius in the 78th minute of play. In the 86th minute Tomas Arhenius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fred Åström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Västra Ämtervik getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Richard Ekström hit a great ball. Västra Ämtervik's Fred Åström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Arhenius in the 89th minute of play. Västra Ämtervik's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
