When Jens-Erik Håkansson fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Glumslöv's protests and gave Jens-Erik Håkansson a yellow card for diving instead. After 3 played minutes Glumslöv got a freekick which was hit by Jens-Erik Håkansson. Kjell-Arne Tomasson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jim Bröms having to interfere. In the 10th minute Hubert Sundén suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Nils-Emil Lundqvist charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nils-Emil Lundqvist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 11th match minute, Glumslöv was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nils-Emil Lundqvist to maneuver through the defense. If Kjell-Arne Tomasson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jens-Erik Håkansson in the 23rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ulf Alin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jens-Erik Håkansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isac Fagerberg struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Ulf Alin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Glumslöv. 33 minutes into the match, Isac Fagerberg dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ulf Alin, 1-0. Alvin Hjortberg struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Jim Bröms didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gullabo. After having played for 38 minutes, Kjell-Arne Tomasson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gullabo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kjell-Arne Tomasson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Jens-Erik Håkansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 45th minute by Jens-Erik Håkansson got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Isac Fagerberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Glumslöv's supporters rose to their feet, but Isac Fagerberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ulf Alin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kjell-Arne Tomasson made a kick off. Gullabo's Ulf Alin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isac Fagerberg in the 53rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Gullabo's zone, Isac Fagerberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ulf Alin came out of the goal and Isac Fagerberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roy Nyman took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 63rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ulf Alin. Gullabo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jens-Erik Håkansson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ulf Alin having to make a save. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gullabo's goalkeeper Ulf Alin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vidar Löfskog struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Jim Bröms didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gullabo. After 76 played minutes Glumslöv got a freekick which was hit by Henrik Nyman. In the 78th minute Villiam Hagström managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. When Gullabo's Kjell-Arne Tomasson in 79 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Jim Bröms guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. After having played for 86 minutes, Kjell-Arne Tomasson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gullabo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kjell-Arne Tomasson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Isac Fagerberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 94th minute Jens-Erik Håkansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulf Alin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 95 minutes into the game, Vidar Löfskog was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gullabo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Glumslöv the free kick. Vidar Löfskog hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Jens-Erik Håkansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Glumslöv fans cheered their team off the field, for while Gullabo had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
