Grimslöv BF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Skå IFK the free kick. Eddie Söderman hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Kenneth Österlund was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 6th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Erland Holmgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Alfons Collin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Grimslöv BF's Otto Norberg got a free kick in the 24th minute. When Alfons Collin came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Skå IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfons Collin couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Erland Holmgren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jens-Ove Örtlund was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Erland Holmgren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grimslöv BF's supporters rose to their feet, but Erland Holmgren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jens-Ove Örtlund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaf Engström got free with Jens-Ove Örtlund in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 97 minutes into the game, Alfons Collin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0.
