Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Kurt Björkqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Pååk, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Ivan Överman's late challenge caught a Östra Frölunda FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ivan Överman helped the player get up and apologised. After 16 played minutes Årsta got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Överman. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Årsta's goalkeeper Roy Pålsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jonny Åberg kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Årsta's zone, Erling Hjelm stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roy Pålsson came out of the goal and Erling Hjelm tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 26th match minute, Årsta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sivert Dusett to maneuver through the defense. Malcolm Engström hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Sebastian Sjödin in the 30thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Kurt Björkqvist, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erling Hjelm in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roy Pålsson saved Årsta from getting behind. If Christian Pååk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christian Pååk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Kurt Björkqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erling Hjelm in the 42nd minute of play forced Årsta's goalkeeper Roy Pålsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ivan Överman hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 74th minute, Christian Pååk ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kurt Björkqvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Christian Pååk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kurt Björkqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Pååk in the 91st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Filiph Widberg during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Karl-Axel Mattsson placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Östra Frölunda FK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
