Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when George Beckeman got the match started through his kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hans Strömqvist in the 2nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ingemar Nordgren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 5th minute, Sandhult's George Beckeman dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. George Beckeman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kurt Björkqvist having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, George Beckeman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sandhult's supporters rose to their feet, but George Beckeman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kurt Björkqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 19 minutes into the match, Östra Frölunda FK's goalkeeper Kurt Björkqvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tom Linqvist. Sandhult's Tom Linqvist got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. George Beckeman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kurt Björkqvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Kurt Björkqvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by George Beckeman in the 31st minute. 34 minutes into the match, Sandhult's goal looked a bit too open when Erling Hjelm came free, but Ingemar Nordgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Östra Frölunda FK's Erling Hjelm got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by George Beckeman in the 38th minute of play forced Östra Frölunda FK's goalkeeper Kurt Björkqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tom Linqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Kurt Björkqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by George Beckeman in the 41st minute of play forced Östra Frölunda FK's goalkeeper Kurt Björkqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tom Linqvist got free with Kurt Björkqvist in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hans Strömqvist stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, George Beckeman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kurt Björkqvist. Östra Frölunda FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that George Beckeman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. A collision led to Sandhult getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. George Beckeman hit a great ball. Kurt Björkqvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tom Linqvist's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. After 69 played minutes Östra Frölunda FK got a freekick which was hit by Aron Kling. Kurt Björkqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George Beckeman, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Tom Linqvist might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kurt Björkqvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tom Linqvist ran back to his position shaking his head. 79 minutes into the match, Östra Frölunda FK's goal looked a bit too open when George Beckeman came free, but Kurt Björkqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 83 minutes, Tom Linqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sandhult's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tom Linqvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. George Beckeman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kurt Björkqvist having to interfere. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sandhult's goalkeeper Ingemar Nordgren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 91st minute, Erling Hjelm got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Hans Strömqvist came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Östra Frölunda FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hans Strömqvist couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Sandhult's zone, Erling Hjelm stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ingemar Nordgren came out of the goal and Erling Hjelm tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sandhult walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
