In the 34thth minute of the game Marcus Wennerlund who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ekenässjön's Oliver Johnsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Robert Groth's late challenge caught a Bruzaholm's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Robert Groth helped the player get up and apologised. Robert Groth kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. The supporters of Bruzaholm booed when Ekenässjön was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michael Unesson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 48th minute, Fred Ek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mats Blom made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Bruzaholm's Isaac Karlsson got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 57th minute Kenneth Göransson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristoffer Brolin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Ekenässjön's goal looked a bit too open when Mats Blom came free, but Oliver Johnsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kenneth Göransson scored 2-1 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kristoffer Brolin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Ekenässjön getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Anton Dahlberg hit a great ball. If Marcus Wennerlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 88 minutes, Mats Blom managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bruzaholm's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mats Blom was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 90th minute, Robert Groth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Mats Blom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
