Harry Säfström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gert Arvidsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In a very dangerous position, a player in Edsele BF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 8th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 10 minutes, Utö's Boris Njurenius got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Andy Morat. Albin Dahlquist scored 1-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Harry Säfström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Sten Gustavsson came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Utö fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sten Gustavsson couldn't finish the play. Albin Dahlquist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Sten Gustavsson took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Andy Morat to make any attempt to save it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
The wind increased when Gert Arvidsson made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Utö's zone, Gert Arvidsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Harry Säfström came out of the goal and Gert Arvidsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Svante Bäck hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute, Albin Dahlquist made a precise shot to the right of Harry Säfström. Utö's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Sten Gustavsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andy Morat. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sten Gustavsson ran back to his position shaking his head. After 69 played minutes Utö got a freekick which was hit by Ove Berggren. Sten Gustavsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andy Morat read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Utö's goalkeeper Harry Säfström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Albin Dahlquist. When Albin Dahlquist came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Edsele BF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albin Dahlquist couldn't finish the play. Utö's Harry Säfström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gert Arvidsson in the 80th minute of play. Albin Dahlquist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th match minute, Edsele BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fredric Karlsson to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Utö's Harry Säfström got control of the ball when Albin Dahlquist tried to sneak it across the goal line. Albin Dahlquist in the 92ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Harry Säfström, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The supporters of Utö booed when Edsele BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fredric Karlsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sten Gustavsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Edsele BF players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Utö from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
