Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Eric Ekgren got the match started through his kick off. 2 minutes into the match, Färnäs IF's goal looked a bit too open when Ove Berg came free, but Jesper Henriksson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Sollefteå FK getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Tim Bratt hit a great ball. After 7 played minutes, Färnäs IF's Mattias Lindqvist shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dag Thedin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Färnäs IF reached it. After a rather tough play, Sollefteå FK's Birger Deckberg got a free kick in the 10th minute. After 11 played minutes Sollefteå FK got a freekick which was hit by Bo Bure. Gottfrid Jelm charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gottfrid Jelm the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Sollefteå FK booed when Färnäs IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gottfrid Jelm didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ove Berg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stig Wallmark's late challenge caught a Sollefteå FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stig Wallmark helped the player get up and apologised. In the 23rd minute, Stig Wallmark hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stig Wallmark got free with Dag Thedin in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 30 minutes into the match, Sollefteå FK's goal looked a bit too open when Eric Ekgren came free, but Dag Thedin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pelle Häll recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Stig Wallmark sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 56 minutes of play, Färnäs IF's Eric Ekgren made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dag Thedin was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpected shot in the 60th minute by Ove Berg got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 62nd minute, Sollefteå FK's Pelle Häll ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jesper Henriksson. Jesper Henriksson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. In the 65th minute Pelle Häll shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesper Henriksson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Birger Deckberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jesper Henriksson made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Ove Berg sent off a good shot on target. Sven-Olof Wennerqvist charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sven-Olof Wennerqvist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 80th minute, Sven-Olof Wennerqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stig Wallmark sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sven-Olof Wennerqvist struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Dag Thedin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Färnäs IF. Eric Ekgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Dag Thedin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sollefteå FK's Dag Thedin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig Wallmark in the 92nd minute of play. Färnäs IF's Eric Ekgren got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sollefteå FK succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Färnäs IF had controlled the match.
